I've found that the hardest part about being a freelance gaming writer is managing your time.  How many websites, how many forums can one belond to AND spend enough time with be a part of that community?  When writing is not your "daytime job", managing time is even more critical.  Anyone who began as a gamer in high school remembers those days when we had plenty of time to learn all sort of games, different rules, and could game once or more a week.  Those were the days that established us and feed us to this day.

So I decided I should at least have an entry up here on live-journal since I established a membership to participate in another live-journal opportunity.  In a nutshell I'm a 25-year gamer and a writer who has been doing freelance writing for the gaming industry for about four years now.  I've got my own website for my work with some free articles and a review of my publications.  http://www.dragonlairdgaming.com/  I tend to write for gamemasters and focus on Serenity RPG, general GM techniques, or studying particular genres for use with gaming.  My latest article in Knights of the Dinner Table magazine examined how one could run a superheroes campaign inspired by the NBC TV show, Heroes.

I'll try to visit here from time to time if you have any questions.  I've got a contact email at the Dragonlaird Gaming site in case you'd like to talk to me about a particular writing opportunity.

So until our paths cross, thanks for visiting!
